Dual coffee makers are a blessing when you have two coffee drinkers in the house who can not agree on what type of coffee to make.

Dual coffee makers generally have two separate brewing areas so you can brew two different types of coffee at the same time.

Some have a decanter, where others brew straight into your cup. There are actually quite a few dual coffee makers on the market, so you should shop around to find the one that best suits your needs.

Black and Decker DDCM200 Dual Personal Coffeemaker

The Black and Decker DDCM200 Dual Personal Coffeemaker allows you to brew 1 or 2 cups of coffee at a time directly into the included 16 ounce stainless steel travel mugs.

The coffeemaker features 2 separate filter baskets and permanent filters and a power indicator. Pros Consumers really liked the convenience of this coffeemaker. They liked that there were no filters to buy and that the maker has an option to brew one or two cups.

They appreciated that the mugs were well made and had rubber gripping. Another thing consumers liked about this product is that it is easy to clean. Cons Consumers found there were a couple downsides to this coffeemaker. The first being that the left cup always gets more brewed coffee than the right.

Also there are no hot plates on the coffeemaker and the mugs are not well insulated, so coffee ends up lukewarm quickly. This Black and Decker coffeemaker is well built and it does provide two different cups of coffee at one time.

It provides a lot of convenience.

The minor downsides may be enough to turn some consumers away, but overall this is a very competent product.

Kitchen Selectives Dual Carafe Coffeemaker

The Kitchen Selective Dual Carafe Coffeemaker has two separate water reservoirs to ensure even brewing.
It has a European design and is a great option for those needing to brew two separate cups of coffee at the same time. Pros Consumers like that this coffeemaker is user friendly.

Features such as the easy to read water levels and push button filter release make it simple to use.

They like that the filter holders are removable to allow for a simple clean up.

Another feature that consumers really enjoy about this coffeemaker is that it has a pause feature which allows you to stop brewing so you can remove a carafe if needed during brewing. Cons The issues that consumers have seen with this product include two important features that are missing from the product.

The first is a timer which this coffeemaker does not have. The second issue is a safety issue.

This coffeemaker does not have automatic shut off, so you must be on top of things and ensure you shut it off.

This coffeemaker is very good concerning overall function and operation, but for many the lack of the auto shut off safety feature may just be enough for them to look to a different product.
